Morning all I have included a knowledge organiser today for fractions. This is all you need to know for fractions in Year 5. It's really useful. We will be doing fractions of amounts next week. Today we are recapping equivalence and looking at the different types of fractions and how to convert them in the main part of the lesson today.
Mrs Merdani wants you to keep up with your French work using the links on the ppt.
I hope you are keeping up with your fitness challenges. Let me know how you are getting on.
For those who fancy a little extra today I have set a little maths challenge for you to do.
At 2:30pm we have an Ash Wednesday Liturgy in school via zoom. Links will be sent out for all to join.
Today I want you to have some fun with your maths. Below are two links to some maths games I want you to play. Challenge yourself don't just go for the easy option/level. Send me a picture of your score and what level you did. Have a few games and let me know your best score!
For French today I would like you to play this game and have a little fun. It's really straight forward and is a really good recap of all the things you have learnt.
Really important that you mark your work once you complete it then write down at the end what you struggled with. If you find something difficult do your best and have a go like you would in class. We will revisit anything you don't understand on Wednesday.
For those that are confident skip to 9minutes 30 seconds to help with the challenge questions I have set.
Don't forget I said the first 20 questions for the maths. You don't need to do them all!
It's my birthday today. I would like you to organise a party for me.
