Mental Health Awareness Week
This week it is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme this year is KINDNESS.
During the extreme times of the Coronavirus outbreak the world has seen fantastic displays of kindness from so many people, all doing little things in their own ways to support people struggling due to the outbreak. During stressful situations such as this, it is so refreshing to see community spirit and basic human kindness coming to light. Not all kindness needs to be bold acts of heroism or a big donation of some sorts. Most kindness is spread from the small actions we can share with those around us.
This week, I would like you carry out an act of kindness. I have listed some activities below that might help you think of how you could be kind this week.
Kindness is the colour of…
It smells like…
It sounds like…
It feels like…
It looks like…
It tastes like….
When I am kind I feel…
Remember it is also important to be kind to yourself! Do something you enjoy or love doing.
