Sacrament of Confirmation- 3.12.25

This evening, 10 of our children celebrated their Confirmation at Holy Family Church. This is a special time for Catholics as our childrena dn young people remember the promises that were made at the Baptism by their godparents and reaffirm their faith. Bishop Marcus spoke to use about the two important signs and symbols of Confirmation: the laying on of the hands in blessing and the annointing of a cross on the forehead with the holy chrism oil. Congratulations to our Confirmandi children; we hope you enjoyed the evening!

3.12.25

It's the beginning of Advent where we begin our preparation to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We changed our altar cloths to purple, the traditional liturgical colour for this special time of year. It represents preparation, repentance and royalty.

This morning, we headed down to Holy Family Church for Mass with our buddies Reception. As always, we read our scripture and prayers beautifully and were great role models for the Reception children. They sat fantastically and listened so we throughout Mass too. Fr Neil will be proud!
